Space Jam
Jackie and Danielle are ready to hoop! This week they’re joined by Jackie’s work wife Amber as they discuss the 1996 American live-action/animated film Space Jam. The sports comedy takes a fictionalized look of what happened between Michael Jordan’s first NBA retirement and subsequent return in 1995. It also takes stabs at his daliance with baseball during said retirement. The film features the cast of cartoon holligans from the Looney Tunes, Michaele Jordan and NBA players Charles Barkley, Shawn Bradley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson and Muggsy Bogues (the Monsters). The ladies have a blast recalling iconic scenes from this classic just in time for the release of the new sequel starring Lebron James.
